Growing apart
Growing apart , happens to the best of us.
Becoming a adult never felt so wrong
Your best friends, you know the ones you do the stupid things with
Are suddenly gone
You say will keep in touch forever ,Stay best friends forever ,but never really do
It’s a price to pay , but in the end it as it’s own rewards.
Soon will see less of each other than even less.
Growing apart, Why our friendship
We’ve been through so much bad and so much good
Supported each other
It’s all gone. All for nothing,
30 years from now we’ll look back and think she got me through a lot.
I wonder what she’s doing now.
Growing apart, It’s hard but for the best sometimes….

I can relate to this poem, because I have lost touch with some friends over the years. It saddens me to think about it but knowing that they are well and improving in life makes me happy!

Seems like personal reflection not poetry. Yeah, a Hallmark Friend card. Some prose.
It's a statement, sad, true in some ways...never gone or for nothing ...cuz there's always something to be gained, loved and learned thru our past friendships. It makes our next ones all the more valuable.

This poem is about emotions and feelings that everyone will have in some point in life. I am so lucky to read the personal writings of a fellow poet. This poem is truly from the heart and I think it should be published someday.

That's a poem that would touch your heart. You speak the truth about the way's we all lose our friends and the things we will always remember about the good and bad. Not too many people share their memories like this but I really enjoyed it.

Good poem but you will get over it. As a matter of fact, you'll look back and wonder why you cared so much. And if you don't, you really ought to get out more often.
