Bush would have to be drunk and on LSD to apologize to Iraq. And all though your idea is good - you are talking about a time in history when our government was not near as corrupt as it is today. People wanted to to noble "right" things back then. Today the members of government are singlemindedly focused in lining each others pockets, and gaining more & more power.

I see you know none of the actual facts about Iraq,
We are building schools, we now have many built and women are now allowed to go to school. We have built hospitals, we have got a teaching hospital built now.
We have electric power to most major areas,
So we are rebuilding most of Iraq and most of the people of Iraq love us.
What you have in Iraq is a split of two groups, one a real minority, They do not have the majority of the ruling body of Iraq, so by thier culture, it is better to kill the enemy than to work within the political structure.
So we are doing those things and they are working, and if Syria and Iran would stop supporting the terrorists in Iraq, we would soon have it won.

We are building schools, hospitals, roads, power & water plants, etc.
But the drive by media doesn't report on the positive things. Their agenda is to get Bush & the Republicans out of office. So good news we hear little of.
The terrorists realize that if we get these projects completed, the people of Iraq will turn (more) against them.
So they target places like that to make it appear that thing are not going to get better.
In a country of 25 million, there are estimated to be 50,000 to 100,000 terrorists.
That very small percentage knows they will NEVER get their way politically, so they blow things up & kill people trying to force their will on the majority.

The question truely shows how misguided you are in what's going on in the world. First off, you do not apologize to TERRORISTS. We are not sorry for attacking and disarming the Taliban and the evil regime in Iraq. And if we had the chance, we'd do it again.
Secondly, we are rebuilding Iraq. Cowardly acts like suicide bombs and insurgents hiding among cilivians have slowed the process. If you take out all the funding to fight the terrorists, anything that you build would get blown up.

I agree with you to a point, but that money they are spending over there combind with amount of dead Americana's leaves me cold, may be we should use that money at home and make better school's and take care of are own for a change.
Every time I see Bush talking about Iraq I think why don't you move over their because he does not care how this country is getting along ,he must think all of us is as rich as his family , guess what were not.

If they are spending money building schools and hospitals in Iraq, it's only to line the pockets of their friends the contractors, not to help the Iraqi people. There's got to be some mechanism for funneling your tax money down into their friends' bank accounts.
