I am so proud to be a citizen of the United States that when I salute our flag, I do so with pride. I realize others are desperate to get here, hungry for freedom. Others may view those people as savage, but they are human, just like us. Some folks wish we all wore a name tag to identify what "group" we belong to, but I prefer to judge each person on their own merits.

As a teacher, I always see odd things on the first day of school. The oddest of all creatures are kindergartners.. We opened the day just fine until it came to the Pledge of Allegience. Some of the kids didn't even know they lived in the United States! The others were ripping off their name tags and saying they were hungry! I am a patient woman so I taught the children about pride for our country and those who served for us, and showed them how to salute the flag. The kids seeemed to understand after that, but i can understand why some people think kindergarteners are savages!

Once there was a troll living in the United States. The humans thought he was savage, that if he was hungry he'd gobble up all their kids (though no one could agree if it would be goat or human kids), but really he was very kind. The manager of a supermarket took pity on him and offered the troll a job. Giving the manager a trollish salute - which involves the use of the tail - the troll accepted his name tag with pride.

Once upon a time, a savage wanted to take a job at Wal-Mart. Of course, since there were no Wal-Mart stores in his native country of Wadfoinageflkatj, he was forced to take the next Savage Airlines flight to the United States. Upon arrival, he was issued a Wal-Mart name tag, which he wore with pride. He was so proud of it, in fact, that he would salute it every morning before going to work. However, since Wal-Mart is notorious for underpaying its entry-level employees, he became so hungry that he finally ate his name tag, and was promptly fired.
