You have no concept of what made America great, and seem to hate the US Constitution. I agree with all the other positive comments here re coragryph.

What an asinine question. Not only is the general premise ridiculous, the smearing of another member is repugnant. And to pick coragryph, of all people, to smear? There are quite a few people around here who don't know what the f**k they're talking about, but he's not one of them. The man is extremely intelligent and a legal expert. I don't always agree with him, but I always respect what's between his ears. We need people like him in positions of leadership in this country.

Hey, now. He's in many respects himself an example of what made America great; individuals who used reason, education, and moderation to shape their own minds, then created a system of government that requires public knowledge, input, oversight, and debate.

He also has the advantage of good manners, and that alone makes his style preferable to this kind of personal smear attack.

I've emailed back and forth with you before, and you seem to possess a brain. Why don't you utilize it to intelligently debate/discuss the issues you care about, instead of indulging in this kind of childishness?

Hey lets be civil. I don't think he hates America just because he sees thing in a different light. There are many who share some if not all his views. They're ideas and all ideas need to be analyzed, and consider what value, if any they might have. He is of value because he puts yet another spin on the issues, and isn't that what we all are trying to do?????

Why do conservatives like S H I R A Z - S Y R A H reduce liberal opinions to an offense against everything American, despite being built on liberal ideas espoused by the framers of our country?

I'm not interested in peoples opinions as much as how inteligently they argue them. And Coragryph argues with reason and sense. If you dont agree with him fine, argue, with equal reason and sense instead of slagging him off.

Anyone has the right to Hate America, but I fail to understand why they stay in America? Could it be that there is no Other Country as Good as America?

One, you can't seem to get it through your closed-off little mind that I am not a liberal. Not by any definition of the term except yours. Not that reality seems to be at all important to you.

Two, it really answers your own question when the only thing that I consistently advocate is adherence to the Constitution and respect for our laws. So, by your definition, the only things that have made America great are violation of the Constitution and disrespect for the laws.

And since you consider betrayal on the Constitution to be a sign of greatness, then I am happy to confirm that I oppose that.
