You are right, all these millions of people of various descent (Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, etc.) that were raped, tortured and slaughtered deserved what they got. After all, they committed the crime of being born humans into a nation of barbarian animals.

The United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide defines the term as: Any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group: (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.
In 1915 the Armenian citizens of the Ottoman Empire were expelled from anatolia (modern day Turkey) and deported to Syria. Many were killed and tortured, or sent out into the desert to die and the wealth of almost the entire Armenian population was stolen, these methods were also used in Hitler's "final solution". As genocide isn't necesarily the murder of an entire population but may also apply to their expropriation and deportation as well as their torture, what happened to the Armenian people was genocide.
To deny that the Armenian genocide happened is just plain stupid - there are hundreds of witnesses from the international community, photographs and accounts from those who went through it. What system want is the acknowledgement from the Turkish government that the Armenian genocide happened, and they were reponsible - something the Turkish authorities refuse to do.

System of a Down are of armenian descent and, like most armenians, are not crazy about Turkey. As for the Armenian massacre, we are all entitled to our own opinions but we cannot change or ignore history.
