I don't approve. Do circumstances ever warrant showering with players?

Personally I think it's bad practice to shower with them, but it isn't for fear of molestation or anything like that. Students need to be supervised, and it can be difficult to do that when you're naked.
Don't jump to conclusions about this assistant. There is a healthy chance that he is not perverted, so you really need more evidence than this to reach a conclusion about him. If he had some history of this sort of thing, or if some of the players made complaints, then it would be concerning. Otherwise, it's just ill-advised because it puts the coach on the same level as the players. Good night!

I don't see a problem if they are all the same sex. Now what may be a problem is, if the coach is a child molester or rapist, there may be something bad going down. However, don't always draw conclusions in situations like this. Football is a nasty game for everyone involved down on that field. Look for other sines that this is an unhealthy state of affairs, the most obvious one being whether the coach is being aroused by being in the presents of other men. No normal heterosexual guy gets an erection in the locker room.

come on you have to be kidding. This is not good and should not happen at all. He is suppose to be an adult and what kind of values is he setting for these kids.
I know if It were my kid or even if I were on the team I would be blowing some steam down someones back over this. I think he could shower later after all he is not out there working up a sweat like the team is.

i know being part of the team is inportant to the coaches but this goes way to far over the line i mean these kids most likely have to see this coach in school during the day and if it were me id feel a little awkward around him fro a while

What's the problem? These guys are old enough to see older men without clothes. My coach did it in high school and us guys didn't mind.

if the game is out of town,the coaches want to shower too before coming home like the rest of the players.
If it's a home game ,no.

nasty and they students need to report his *** and the school board needs to get him fired. if you are in the school and he takes shower with football players better tell your parents and take action. watch out
