Yes, if the police have reason to think that you are unlicensed or are commiting any other traffic infraction, they have reason to stop you.

The police can stop you for anything they think warrants further investigation. Think about it. If a kid of 12 WAS joy riding in your car, wouldn't you want the police to stop them? I'm sorry you have a young face, but it's in everyones's best interest that the police check things out when they are suspicious.

in the U.S., the police have the right to stop you for almost any suspicion

they can't search your car but they can stop you for any reason or no reason

the police often set up road blocks and stop every single car that comes through, just to check documents and license

if they stop you because you look young, you show them your license and you are quickly on your way, whats the problem

i looked real young for my age and use to get carded when I was nearly 30

no big deal, show the card and move on

The Police can stop you for what is termed "Compliance Check" meaning if they feel like it, they can pull anyone over to check Driver's licenses, Auto Insurance, Registration, and safety checks (seat belts, turn signals and such).

I honestly think the police can stop you for any reason whatsoever. Not good, but it's a fact of life.

If they don't have a reason to stop you ....there are 101 that they can make up.....swerving....left of center...illegal turn....acting suspicious. Each officer is issued a card when he graduates with the 101 reasons on it!
