So our "private parts" which are not all that private, don't rub against the rough material of our trousers. Boxer wearers like the freedom they afford us. You might say we are "swingers" But some men feel more comfortable in "tightie whities," it's more of a comfort thing than anything else. Though some men worry that they won't be virile/fertile because briefs have been know to create to much heat that destroys our sperm.

I wear boxer-briefs because, a little bit like a bra, there are certain places I do NOT want a seam - with briefs I get a seam in a bad place (and sometimes a rash). But with boxer-briefs, the seam is in a slightl different place & much more comfortable.

If their penis is held in too tightly, the temperature becomes too high for sperm production levels to be regular.
