That's a great idea, but not just for other planets. There ought to be a world flag flown alongside of every country's flag whenever or where ever any flag is flown. Eventually, the country flags could be eliminated. That could end wars, poverty, hunger and stupidity.

What right do we have to pollute and litter other planets & Moons. NO! Since theses place are uninhabited who the hell is going to see them! What a silly silly idea. Placing a country flag there is just as stupid but at least it the $20 flag represents the billions spent to accomplish nothing.

When the rest of the world either pays for the spaceships that get there, or sends their own ships up, then they can plant whatever damn flag they want.
