To look your best, be yourself - that'll be enough to make you sparkle.
Choose pretty dresses in colors that compliment your complexion and styles that flatter your figure without looking trashy or like you're trying too hard. Subtle and simple is always better than overdone.
Light make-up with a sheer gloss so you can eat or drink without it wearing off. Play up your eyes with a touch of mascara instead.
Pick a hairstyle that won't go flat. A simple up do like a curly ponytail, a messy bun, or a french twist with some wispy tendrils of hair on the sides would be pretty. If your hair is naturally straight or curly, maybe just leave it down and add a sparkly clip or something.
Most important - a great smile and friendly demeanor! Have fun!!!

It depends on the dress. If you have a long dress wear your hair up. If you have a short dress wear your hair down at least part of the way if not all the way. Now the accessories depend on how the dress is cut. If the dress is cut low then wear a necklace. If the dress is cut around the neck then don't wear a necklace. Wear body glitter instead. Make sure you take a bath and put on some good smelling lotion or baby oil. Personally, I do not wear a lot of make up because I believe that make-up takes away from your natural beauty. I do know that you should wear your eye colors that match your dress. The little makeup I wear is eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow and foundation on special occasions. Wear dangling earrings. Males like earrings. They like anything that brings out the beauty in the facial area. Cosmo-girl is great magazine for fashion tips, they have both casual, and formal.

Oh easy all you do is take a good shower and put on a pretty dress and put on not to much make up and on go to the dance and kiss your man.
