My lawn grows very very fast, We have to cut it twice a week! and that might not be bad (I don't really know) but its too much for me, is there any type of grass that grows short and SLOWly?

It sound like you are giving the lawn too much nitrogen. To make a lawn thick and green a lot of nitrogen is a good thing but it also makes the grass grow like crazy. I suggest you use a fall fertilizer in the fall and in the spring. It normally has a lesser amount of nitrogen that most turf fertilizers. (Nitrogen is the 1st number. Most turf fertilizers are about 30-3-3 and fall fertilizers are 18-12-10. You will still have a nice lawn--it just won't grow as fast. NOTE: Don't try to find a fert with the exact numbers I ised--it was an example. Your local lawn & garden center will have fall fertilizers--just ask if you don't see Fall Fert printed on the bag.

It depends on where you are. There are many different types of grass. Cutting it twice a week leads me to believe you are in the south, possibly Florida. If that is the case, then I would recommend Empire Zoysia grass.
