i used to think places like india or the uae were safe but my friend went on a bussiness trip told and she told me there had to be security everywhere for them i'm guessing maybe there was some sort of terrorist threat. any way by safe i mean safe from terrorist or war and that sort dort of thing i don't mean safe as in medical terms.

Israel is a great place, it is safe. It is a great place to travel to, and from Israel you can go to Jordan which is beautiful. The best part about Israel is that you have the "arab world" and the old city's that when you are there you would not belive that you are in a moden county, and the beiftul nature, and there is the dead sea and Jeruslaem, Akco which are a combation of old and new. There is also Tel Aviv which is a very moden city.
The best part is Israel is very cheap and there is wide varity of things to do and diffrent cultures all in one.

I visited basically most of the Middle East and never had any problems. The tourists are protected in some of them and only travel in convoy for long distances (Egypte) so it is pretty safe.
Security is tight as none of those countries wants to lose the revenues from tourists. Common sense again : Don't go where you are not supposed to by yourself and don't be disrespectful to their religion or traditions.

No place on earth is 100% safe these days, but anyway I live in Dubai and it is a GREAT place to be, lovely beaches, shopping, great seafood it is really nice but no historical places to visit, Jordan is lovely also ( Petra, Jerash and the Dead Sea) really out of this world, it is quite safe
Egypt is lovely millions of things to see, lovely people
I think you would love seeing all those places

United Arab Emirates, i have travelled several times to Dubai for business and its one of the best places with duty free trade in middle east. Hey!!! and hassle free from visa documents which is as easy as buying an air ticket.

I was in Israel, Jordon, and Egypt last winter and I had no problems. I mean you get searched more and security is tight but I felt fine the whole time.
