I want to burn cds to play songs from my itunes on my cd player in my house, so I bought Sony CD-RW rewritable disks. I burned the songs from my itunes, but it will not play on my stereo. What did I do wrong?

Try using CD-R's instead of RW's.

Journey Rocks (the above answerer) is correct. CD-RWs do not play back on most players. Only record CDs on CD-R discs.

some stereos won't play CD-RWs. My 3- cd changer, doesn't want to play that type of cd. to make sure you actually have songs on there, just try to play it on your computer, if it doesn't work, then you must have done something wrong.

You have to make sure they are converted to a music file that can be read by a CD player. I-tunes automatically changes most uploaded music to an AAC file that is not readable in normal CD players.
