I agree with you. The team with the better record between the AL team and NL team should get home field advantage. The All Star game should be just for fun, just like home run derby. It was supposed to be a showcase event and nothing more.

i think who ever has the best record out of the two world series teams should have home field advantage. I once heard an interesting idea that whoever wins interleague play that League should have home field advantage in the world series. I would be for those two ideas but the all-star game is a game for fun, there shouldnt be any meaning put in it because it is for the fans.

I liked the change. I think it makes the game a little more meaningful if the winning league gets home field advantage in the World Series. It's a small thing that makes a difference.

The only reason it was changed is because people realized what a joke the all-star game was after there was a tie after 9 innings several years ago. Personally here's what I think it should be...the two world series teams winning percentage minus the winning percentage of their league's inter-league record (so the fact that the NL is terrible would be taken into account).

NO it should go to the team with the best record but the should give the winning All-Star team more money from the tv revenue

No, they should determine it by who has the best record in baseball. Or what league has the better inter league play record. It should not be determined by an exhibition game

no. I think they should have it for best record or back where it was one year, the NL and the next, the AL. since they had this idea in 2003 im guessing the AL was laughing about it ........4-0 so far

Absolutely, other wise we would have the same old crappy all star games that we had in the past.
