I don't think it's conscious.
They have just never had to do anything for themselves and are happy for things to carry on that way. If you let this happen then it is your fault not theirs.
find one that already lives by himself.
that should be best bet!

Obviously you moved out with the wrong man. Maybe you should have waited until you knew him better. Bad judgement on your part I would say. If there's a problem, it is that you were too hasty to live with someone that you didn't know properly.

Mom does to d** much and most men expects it from their girl or spouse.Yes mom thanks she is doing the best when she does the things for her sons,Sons have to grow up too,women just have to put their foot down and straighten out damage that mom has done.

That's just it, they don't. But, it just so happens that what you are in fact doing is exactly what their mom's were doing. Picking up after them, reminding them of important dates/events, picking up after them, and did I mention picking up after them? But when it comes to anything else, you are trying to be just like their mother's. It's a guy thing.

This is why men marry...women ARE replacement mothers to them all. They don't marry for company or to keep you happy forever they marry you to be an unpaid slave mostly!!!

what do you mean "move out" if you mean live with them then everyone likes to be spoiled so you just have to put your foot down and say no.
