Any other reason? I don't have any disorders, and sometimes when I donate blood, they tell me I have an issue with my iron levels (I'm not anemic).

That is because some people can't absorb/digest iron as well as others. Also, young women are more prone to be low on iron (as well as calcium and B12).
The best is to include the liquid form of iron because tablets don't get absorbed good either. Salus makes "Floradix" with herbs, in a liquid. Stir a tablespoon of this in your orange juice in the morning. Keep the bottle in the refrigerator. This should help. Have a complete blood test before you start and again a month or two later after using the liquid iron. This will show if you should decrease or increase your intake.

We often need an iron supplement. Over 90% of females ages 12 to 50 don't get the recommended daily amount. Iron-deficiency, affects 240,000 toddlers and 3.3 million women in the United States.

Iron is a structural component of the hemoglobin found in blood, which delivers oxygen from the lungs to other body tissues.

If you are interested in a good iron supplement, I suggest Iron Plus C Complex. Does not use iron from a rock but uses ferrous fumarate. This form does not cause constipation. Also vitamin C is added for better iron absorption.

Hope this is useful and for the website, feel free to contact me.
