why not put the blame on the auto manufacturers for creating the need for petroleum. Common Ford etc. get to the drawing boards....cut the snakes head off.

blame the apartment owners who built away from the city and where people work. Make everyone live within 10 miles of where they work. make cars illegal in every major city, make them use mass trassit or walk.
