You will probably find the school won't have them anymore, as for audit purposes, paperwork only has to be kept for about 6 years, probably less going back to 1980. Try contacting the Education Department, and see if they can help you.

Your school or college won't have this information any more. You may need to contact the awarding body (eg EdExcel - formerly BTEC, AQA) who will have results for you. The school or college should be able to tell you which awarding bodies to check out.

I would get in touch with your old school and see if they still have your records. Many high schools no longer store records after a certain time. They send them to a storage facility. You'll have to contact them to find out.

contact your old school, I had to get my results from 1976 for a job and my old school kept the records

doubt very much if you can, as no computers then, and they would have shredded them by now.... did you keep the letter you had, it might be up in the loft etc, somewhere.. g;luck..
