I define "normal" as comfortable and good looking and I doubt those highheels are comfortable and when I say "most girls" I'm talking about like 90% of them. I wonder do they all have the same intrests? Or then again is it just fashion?

I don't know man, but most women at concerts I've been to wear sandals like the world is ending tomorrow and they need to get one more day of them in. Having a foot fetish, I didn't mind one bit, but to tell the truth---I don't know. Women are very self-conscious of their appearance. Especially in the "big city" they compete with one another in the looks department and always wish to exude this confident, sophisticated sex appeal. While not all pull it off, the ones that do really do. Hope that helps.......

Probably it is result of the climate+fashion. I am living in a big city in Turkey and here people wear sandals only in the summer. And approximately 50% of the men wear sandals too.
About the high heels, most women wear them when going to work. Women who wear high heels out of the working hours would be 30%.

Sandals are pretty cozy. Some high heels can be very comfortable too, plus it's often easier to find pants that fit in length if you wear high heels (at least for me it is, i'm short). I usually wear adidas sneakers though. Wedge shoes are pretty comfy too, although they might not look it. So if those girls are smart they probably have comfy high shoes, comfort and style... can't really go wrong. Other than that, it's fun to dress up :) But sort of dumb to wear heels if you're planning on walking very far :P

well i may be a kid but trust me i think all girls should where comfortable shoes not high heels i mean yhea i were but not every day and sandles are popular in the city and if people are in a rush there easy to slip on trust me shoes take like a minute or two of your time

well i live in south florida and EVERYONE wheres flip flops hardly any woman really wear sneackers or what not, even alot of guys wear sandals...now high heels just depends on the occasion i guess...they arent the most comfortable shoes but they sure look good!

I live in Maine, most girls here wear athletic shoes like sneakers.Only once awhile you see dress shoes I live more in the country ,but maybe in big cities, girls dress up more.

Well I live in Miami and sandals are everywhere...heels are everywhere too...
I guess If you live in a tropical area you will see these around and lots of them..
Also remember the season youre in..Beach time! everywhere!!!!!

girls just like to dress up and always look cute..normal shoes doesnt really make us girls look all that.
