What would they do...?

If they DID mess with a nerve in my tooth while filling it, how would they fix it?

you might need to see an endodontist for a root canal i had the same problem

They didn't mess with it I'm sure...if the decay in your tooth reach the nerve...you will need root canal...it's normal for it to be cold sensitive for a while after a new filling...but if it becomes cold and hot sensitive you should call your dentist.
