I'm as gutted as you are man.
I was I Rocky fan from back when he was Rocky Mavia but he turned his back on the industry that made. I mean look at Undertaker for example, he could have gone into doing movies aswel but he was loyal to the WWE and to the millions of sports enertainment fans. So much for "the peoples champ," turn't his back on the fans that made him what he is today.
I used to get upset when they used to chant "DIE ROCKY DIE!!" now I couldn't care less after that announcement.
True wrestling fans want loyal wrestlers not actors their to make a quick buck.
p.s. He will never be as successful or popular.

I think the rock needs to take a look back at where he came from, where he got his start. We are the fans that Made him what he is in the movie world today. Even if the rock does not ever wrestle again he should come and do something for the wwe so the fans dont forget about him.

Can ya smeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, what the ROCK is coookin?!?!
Dwayne Johnson is a great actor as far as physical comedy and action. He's not an Academy Award winner........... yet. In time he'll be as sought after as Arnold Schwarzennegger was in the beginning. I enjoy his antics and comedy, I'll be watching for more of his movies.

Trust me, they are trying to get any combo of the Rock, Stone Cold, and Hulk Hogan at WM, but the only one that would do it is Hogan.
The only reason that the Rock is even doing movies is because of wrestling, and if he thinks differently, he is kidding himself. Personally, I dont even think that his movies are any good.

Well, he is an actor now, and a darn fine one. Olivier could take lessons. His range of emotions run the gamut from A to B. He is probably just pretending to quit. Later, when Hollywierd is through wth him, he'll quit quitting.
Don't take his egomania personally. It's only natural in someone who made his living screaming in tights.

He did it. was the best at it. tried something new.
He had nothing left to do in wrestling. He solidified himself as one of the top 3 wrestlers in wwe in the last 12 years
Who would blame him.
I'd do the same thing.
He's getting more money, and not being in physical pain
He'd be stupid to do an actual match.

so what big deal he wants to be known as an actor. step up wouldn't you saw?
i don't see where you got the idea that he "made it look like wrestling wasn't the reason he was famous"
I guess I missed that.

He hasn't been in a match for two years. He's aging, Hollywood is calling (with a lot more money). And I can't believe I'm answering this question about a guy and a sport I have absolutely no interest in.

he thought about it, but then wwe couldn't find a storyline to fit in, so he might not return, or just waiting
