Put the cd into the drive and the mp3 into the usb. Open 'my computer' or 'windows explorer'. Go to whatever drive name is relevant to your cd drive (It's probably d:/ or something similar). Right click on whatever song you wish to copy, and select 'copy' from the menu. Go to your mp3 player (Probably e:/) (click 'up one level' until you get to 'my computer' and double-click on the mp3 player). Right click anywhere within the window and select 'paste'. To do it this way you have to do every track individually. If you want to speed things up, click on the track to be moved to the mp3 player, and press 'shift' and the down cursor, until all the tracks are blue. This copies all the tracks at the same time

you need a piece of software to go from audio (digital or analogue) to MP3.

your MP3 player may have come with such an encoding program, if not you need todownload one - try google.

RTFM the book that came with your MP3 player and see if it has a means of converting (ripping) to MP3.
