I have sbc dsl..when my phone rings it puts me offline,I have changed the filters,it did'nt work.?

I have dsl because supposedly I can talk on the phone while staying on the net,but just the ringing knocks me off,let alone a conversation!!

Call your SBC network and ask them to fix it.

That happened to me and I found out that I had 1 phone with no filter. Once I put a filter on it everything worked fine. Try picking up your phones one at a time and leave them off hook. Then connect to the internet and see if it works. Put that one on hook and try the next one. until the internet does not work. Make sure that you try all phones, even ones in the garage, etc.
