"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them. ... I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much ... the Democrat ratpack gals endorsed John Kerry for president ... cutting campaign commercials... how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy."

I guess Ann can say anything she wants just as long as she claims to be Christian. She rages against the religion of the godless but she is the religion of the hypocrites. She is the religion of the heartless pretending to be Christian. (Since when does Christians promote playboy anyway?) Unfortunately the mindless believe her. People need to learn how to think for themselves.

They need to think about how they would feel if they lost their spouses in a horrible accident and then had someone that doesn't even know them saying that they are "enjoying" their spouses deaths, or that their spouse was going to probably divorce them anyway.

Ann Coulter is a self-obsessed woman who seems genuinely unaware that real people died in the 9/11 attack on our nation. She seems genuinely unaware that these real people had real families that really loved them. She seems genuinely unaware that the people who died were capable of loving their families. She seems genuinely unaware that the families of the 9/11 victims have a right to grieve. She seems genuinely unaware that people who lost loved ones in the attack would probably grieve more than people who have not. She seems genuinely unaware that although the attacks affected everyone in the United States because it was an attack on our nation; it also affected some people on a personal level. Haven't the people who were personally affected by 9/11 have enough?

How dare she attack them?

First of all, this quote is not endorsing Playboy. That comment is aimed at any people who appear in Playboy as a way of extending their 15 minutes of fame. Nor is Ms. Coulter speaking ill of the vast majority of 9/11 widows. The women she is speaking of used the death of their husbands to gain fame and political pull. Despite the fact that 3,000 people died that day, and the entire nation was thrown into shock and mourning, these women are acting as though their husbands are the only ones who died. Kind of like Cindy Sheehan. Other soldiers have died in Iraq, and their mothers are not camping outside President Bush's ranch protesting the war.

Let's make a rule. If you actually lost a husband, wife, child, etc. in the 9/11 attack, you can say whatever the hell you want, endorse anybody you want, do whatever you can to deal with your loss.
Another rule. All those out there trying to make a buck by posing as the "Person most pissed off by 9/11" need to shut the f*** up.

I think Coulter is a horrible, evil person for criticizing these women and for saying many of the terrible lies she has said in her books.

She is entitled to her own opinion and you gotta give her credit for having the guts to speak her own mind. I guess, if someone doesn't agree with her, the next best thing would be not to shell out any money for her books.

She's not exactly known for her honesty or integrity. All she cares about is Ann. Maybe these widows were stealing some of her limelight.

I think she is a shameless self-promoter, willing to exploit anything and anyone if it will get her in the news.

her self-righteousness is deliberate and carefully staged. she is not simply expressing her "common-sense christian opinions" she is deliberately crafting her responses to be as outrageous as possible in the hopes of sparking controversy.

in short, she is the dregs of humanity. why people support such a cold, heartless person is beyond me.

She's just saying those things for shock value. Everyone should ignore her and not reward her immature behavior.
