Certainly you meant to say 9/11? And I expect you to mean "to celebrate" in the sense of "to preserve the memory of", not to make merry?
I want to look at your toast to bin Laden as an ironical or sarcastic gesture, otherwise I can't really understand the meaning thereof.
What do we really know about this man? Is he still alive? Is he really behind those awful events of 9/11 in New York City and elsewhere?
I am not American, but I stopped to think about 9/11 and tried to imagine what it was like to be in one of those planes or towers. Very unpleasant thoughts indeed!
But I know too well that the story of mankind is full of horrid events and disasters like 9/11, some of which go by without being remarked at all. It goes without saying that any war is something detestable. And, what is worse, some wars were made probably to retaliate 9/11.

The 5th celebration of 7/11? I bought a slurpee and ate nachos. Gave a Big Gulp to my friend.

7/11? Nothing special.
If you mean the 5th anniversary of the bombing of the WTC, I prayed for the victims and their families, prayed for peace and posted on message boards reminding people to be grateful for their loved ones and the blessings in their lives.

I tried to ignore it.
Do we "celebrate" the anniversary of the Kansas City Federal Building bombing? Do we "celebrate" the bombing of the Marine Corps Barracks in Beiruit?
Hell no.
So why do we weep and mourn and gnash our teeth and tear our collective hair over WTC?
The only Only ONLY reason we are still boohooing over the Trade Center bombing is that our OWN GOVERNMENT used this attack as an excuse to curtail our freedom, and we can't figure it out. The stupider among us blame the Iraqis for our own self-immolation. The wiser among us fret in impotent agony as our nation is changed from the Land of the Free into the Land of the 'Fraid".
Shoot.

I don't know. When did 7/11 have its five year anniversary. I don't think I was around when that happened, but I would have bought a Big Gulp.
