Your Menstral Period does not begin when your stressted out!. It is a normal life cycle for girls. It's the onset of childbirth and motherhood. Your biological chemistry plays the role as to when you will begin your period, and for the average girl,it is between the ages of 13-14. The cycle usually begins every 28 days, and you may stay on from 3-5 days. If you don't quite understand what's going on,then the person you should be talking to is your mother. She should have explained all of this before you started. If she's uncomfortable herself (which seems to me that a lot of mother's are today),then speak to your Gym Instructor, and older sister,or your aunt. More than likely, you will get nothing but answers from female your own age,on this site.

Periods are usually late due to stress. Your period is also dependent on the females that you hang out with. Your body automatically gets in tune with other females around you and you all tend to have your periods close together. THere is nothing wrong with your period starting at night. I am 19 and i have often started my period in the middle of night. I think that it is just a cycle thing. I don't know what you can do to change it but don't be scared. it will be fine. Hope this helps.

women are generally constant with there periods. there can be changes like excessive weight loss, pregnancies, PID, and many more. the process of the menarche or period, is a cycle where hormones are being released through out your body by the endocrine system. you have two hormones involved and they are estrogen and progesterone. in simplest form estrogen is stimulates the maturation of the egg and progesterone aids fully developing of the egg or ova. the ova starts out in the ovaries and travels to the uterus. you have a lining in the uterus called the endometrium. the ova is implanted onto the endometrium and when there isn't an interaction with sperm, the lining of the endometriun sloughs off and that's where you get your bleeding. then, the whole cycle will begin again. you can generally know when you start ovulating by counting back 21 days from your menses or the first signs of your period. 21 days is the woman's general length of time for the endometrial cycle.

Everyone is different. Generally, many factors can delay the start of your period. Stress, UTI's, poor diet, too much exercise...all kinds of things can delay the start of your period. Unfortunately, you have no control over when your period will start. (Usually, though, it will start whenever you want it least. ;) Your period happens to expell the unfertilized egg and the uterine lining which thickens in preparation for pregnancy. If the egg is not fertilized, you will have your period and the cycle will start again. You can e-mail me at dragonkisses28@hotmail.com if you have anymore specific questions.

I was 13 when mine started and they were irregular. light. then heavy! I never knew when they would start - embarressing when you are at school and it happens and you have no pads or tampons in your bag! My message is give it time and you will learn what is best for you. You will find the right protection and you will get to know the signs (like sore nipples, pains in the stomach, feeling a little blue). Don't worry if they are late unless you are having unprotected sex (which i hope you aren't!). If you have any concerns talk to your mum if you can or someone older who has gone through it. - Hope that helps a little

You should ask a lady friend about this, maybe a teacher or a counsler at your school. When you get your period it is sadly whenever it feels like it. Stress like could I have become pregnant? In my experiance has always stalled it from arriving.

It comes latter if you are stressed. It comes at night because your muscles aren't being worked and that gives your period a chance to come. My periods come at night to and I have no idea. I hate it!
