I've lost both parents & one child. Nothing is worse than the death of a child.

Death of a child. I hope to die before they do. I've lived through the death of my parents.

death of child would be worse because at least we expect our parents to die one day and will be somewhat more prepared for the death of a parent.

It was horrible when my parents died. It still makes me break down and cry whenever I think about them. I loved them very very much and I really miss them, but if my daugher died it would be much much much worse. It's the kind of thing that could wreck your mind.
Parents dieing is, sadly, part of life...most people will see their parents pass away. It is much more uncommon for your kid to die before you.
I can't help but think of the poor folks that have lost children in previous wars and our current debacle in Afganistan and Iraq. What a horrible horrible price they have been asked to pay by their country.

The death of a child would be worse to me.
My mom is dying and I don't want her to leave me, parents are suppose to go before their children. It hurts so much, but it would kill me if one of my childrened died before me.

In the natural order of things, we expect our parents to die before us, but not our children. I lost my father, whom I loved dearly and still miss after nine years. But I could not begin to imagine how devastating it would be to lose one of my children. I pray I never have to find out.

IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE HARD TO LOOSE A PARENT, BUT THEY HAVE LIVED THEIR LIFE. A CHILD'S LIFE HAS JUST BEGUN, AND I THINK WOULD BE UNBEARABLE TO LOOSE YOUR CHILD OR ANY CHILDS LOSS OF LIFE
