World of Warcraft, because the people I play with are awesome. Also, it's fun to level lots of different classes, and races. The map is huge, and there's lots to do no matter what your level is.

I prefer the old-fashined RPG's where you have a group of friends around a table actually role-playing, rather than the limited computer 'role-playing'... in the best RPG would have to be Call of Cthulhu (and it's expansions including Delta Green), just because the game requires more roleplaying/acting rather than combat/dice throwing - characters can be developed better. Also, the game world has be well designed and has plenty of background information to use.

City of Heroes was great, but I really loved Neverwinter Nights by Bioware.

the best game i've ever played for an RPG has to be phantasy star 3 on the old mega drive system
