I remember the government ads of
The animated cartoons feature a little boy and his wise cat, Charley. Six films were made in 1973 and feature the dangers of matches, falling in the water, the kitchen, teapots, strangers and one called Mummy Should Know.

In each the moral of the story was told by the cat in a strangulated, feline miaow - voiced by the late Kenny Everett - and then translated into English by the little boy.

I remember a lot of cigarette ads before they were withdrawn off UK television, eg Capstan, also for cake mix Viota(for busy mothers), Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles, Award Yourself the CDM(Cadbury's), Galaxy chocolate in the cream and blue wrapper, box chocolates, eg Weekend and Contrast, Knorr Stock cubes, Katie Oxo and road safety ads like Tufty Club. The list goes on...

I remember the "Nestea Plunge" a friend and I would do this in the hot summer at the swimming pool. It was hard on the belley too.

And the Hawaiian Punch. We used to do this to each other too.
