The power of attorney is not entitled to your money unless you leave a will or similar document giving it to them.

The power of attorney is only valid during the lifetime of its executor. After his/her death, the "will" will come into force.

no. power of atty lets them act in your place. The laws of inheritance take over. f there isn't any relatives or a will then the state takes it if there is no claim.
