You have to search him out. If I had to go by faith alone I would say there is no God. I have a real relationship with him though. Don't expect miracles all though they occur. Everyone has to seek a relationship with him before they can actually know that he is real. You can't see the wind but you know it's there. I feel him around me all the time. You can't expect someone to do your God work for you. Wouldn't it be wonderful if some one would just bring him to your house.? He's given you his word and you have a choice to follow his instructions in seeking him or not. I am not responsible for your salvation. Neither is anyone else. That's your problem. As a christian I am ordered to pray for people to seek him. It's their problem if they don't.

Sure. Philosophers have done it through history. Whether or not such logical "proofs" are convincing remains to be seen.

I like St-Anselm's proof myself. It's deeper than it first appears to be. Here's how it goes: 1) God, by definition, is the greates thing you can imagine. 2) Something that exists is greater than somehting that doesn't exist. 3) Therefore, by definition, God exists. Therefore, if you say "God doesn't exist", that makes no sense, because the very concept of God pre-supposes his existence.

French Philosopher Blaise Pascal also had an interesting take on the issue. He called it "The bet", or "le pari", in French. He figured you bet your life on whether God exists or not. What you gain, if God exists an you made the right choice, i.e. to believe, is eternal life, or an infinity of lives. What you lose if you're wrong is just your one life on earth, and you only lose that in the sense that you live it in accordance to a false belief. Given this, no matter what the probability is of God's existence, only a fool would refuse such a bet since the winning odds of an infinity versus one would always be to your advantage.

Philosophers Kant, Spinoza, Descartes, Malebranche and others all wrote 'proofs' of the existence of God, but the two above are my personal favourites.

In case you're wondering, I majored in philosophy in college.

Sure! just look at anything natural? No matter what type of high tech light humans create they can not compare to the light of the sun or the moon. Look at fruits our best tasting deserts can not compare to the nutrition or taste. Look at life how a baby grows from a few cells to a human being. Look all around you who else can create the universe!

Sure easy.

Many people believe in God. Many people discuss God. The word is defined in the dictionary. Therefore, "God" as a concept clearly exists.

Now, whether God has any particular abilities or powers is another debate.

We are born with an internal knowledge of our Creator whether we acknowledge it or not. Since time started they've tried to get rid of Christianity and have failed, it comes back stronger. The same with the Bible, it has been here in one form or another since time and they can't get rid of it and they won't. People willingly take the risk of dying for a page of it! Just pray one time to see the truth and I think you will.

You can't disproove Him.

You can't proove the facts to someone... they must choose to believe in them or not

Same way with God...
