Don't know exactly what you mean by "shortest possible time period" and "high risks". The riskier the investment, the more likely you are to lose your money, not grow it.

I checked and found out that SGD5000 is about $3160 in US funds. If you were in the US with that amount of money, I would suggest buying a low cost broad-based stock index fund like the Vanguard S&P 500 Index fund. A broader index fund would be even better (a fund that invests in all developed markets would be ideal). Then sit back and wait. If your fund can return 7% per year, your money will double in 10 years, quadruple in 20, and grow to 10 times your initial investment in about 32 years.

Hahah.. you want a short time frame but want low risks?

There is a way but are you willing to work hard or you just want to put the money somewhere and watch it grow without any work?

if you are willing to work hard, I can show you how to increase your $5000 and make it $50 000 within a short time. just email me at verityy@yahoo.com

But if not, then you are better off dreaming about it ;)

From personal experience, money does not fall from the sky.. high returns usually only happen if you:
- know the right people
- have high initial capital outlay.. (something like 5 million sounds more like it.. even $50 000 will get you higher percentage of returns)
