The American military have had bin Laden in their sights in Afghanistan on several occasions - if you send a letter to Afghanisatan - bin Laden - a cave somewhere - then it should reach him.
The American politicos don't want bin Laden taken out - he is much much too useful to justify a so called 'war on terror' which entails robbing us of our freedom and passing absolutely tragic laws and resorting to human rights abuses all over the world.
bin Laden has a kidney problem and needs dialysis on a weekly basis - he's obviously getting it. Since bin Laden was originally recruited by the CIA this aint as simple as the spooks and politicos would have you believe. bin Laden is getting more than a white flag and kisses - he's being kept alive with the collusion of politicians and military spooks. bin Laden in much much much too useful to allow anyone to kill him.
I know of people doing charitable work in Afghanistan and they tell me that whenever the soldiers have bin Laden in their sights and seek permission to take him out permission is always denied. You tell me what's going on.
