Anything that denoes any responsibility for the position two people find themselves in - like "I am what I am" which means "I am rude and i dont give a **** about how my behaviour makes you feel so just deal with it".
Also "We are where we are." which means "I have probably behaved disgracefully and done things that would challenge the patience of a saint but rather than acknowledge any fault or blame on my part I would like to move on to the part of the conversation where I tell you exactly what I would like to happen now because I am a sub-human reptile with the manners of a warthog and the ethics of an Enron executive".
And "At the end of the day" which means "I am too lazy or too stupid to think about how we got to this point. It is probably my fault but, once again, I am not diposed to acknowledge that or even to think about it because that would involve recognising that I am a bit of a ****. I find focussing on the predicament rather than the means by which we got into it a useful mechanism to avoid confronting the hideous personality disorders that have marred my life and are about to play havoc with yours"

In films where you have a police officer 'Just 3 days away from retirement' or the young police officer who's 21st birthday it is today and in the evening he's going to propose to his girlfriend. Or the other police officer who decides last minute to do a few extra hours to put more cash into his kids college fun - GUESS WHO'S GOING TO END UP ON A TROLLEY WITH A LABEL ON THEIR BIG TOE BY THE END OF THE FILM???? !!!!

The cliche phrase that gets me mad is "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Blah.
The cliche scene that gets me is in games and movies when the guy has to save the girl because she's so weak and omg must need help from the big strong man! ¬_¬

"Live everyday like it's your last."
Right, so the first thing I'm going to do is quit my job. I'm not working on my last day on earth. What's next, spend all my savings of course! Who needs money in the bank if it's my last day... need I continue?
Oh, and "at the end of the day..." bugs me just as much.

plenty more fish in the sea
you are what you eat
the worse it tastes, the better it is for you
the repetitious use of 'like', or 'you know?', or especially 'you know what I mean? especially if un-naturally pronounced with a glottal stop
Or anything that demonstrates that the speaker hasn't a thought in their tiny, granite head.

Any group of fake people! Fake rockers who secretly listen to Hilary Duff, fake 'tortured soul artists' who live out in the suburbs and don't even have to pay for their expensive supplies, fake girls who suppress their intelligence to mold themselves into society's 'dumb blonde' attitude. I hate them all!
