WOW! when you ask a question you really dont fool around...
Firstly, war criminals are generaly so labled by the victors in a conflict... for example,the ss in WWII as well as the regular german army were heavily condemended at nurenberg ( the WWII war crimes tribuneral) for the likes of the malmedy massacre and other heinous crimes (the jewish solution etc).
We won (UK+USA) in the 2nd gulf war , and so saddam was put on trial for war crimes... in bosnia (where a number of my friends served in IFOR and later KFOR in kosivo) there was no obvious victor so it took a decade for the UN and NATOI to get any convictions together against slobodan milosovitch and others...
NOW WHAT ABOUT BUSH!!! ok, if for some ghastly reason the west collapses and the islamic fundementalists manage to get their world hegemony sorted out then perhaps they might bring a charge of war crimes against George Bush and Tony Blair and most of the soldiers both our countrys sent out to this wonderful little corner of hell.....
Personaly i dont think god comes into this one so talk of heaven and hell is a bit of a mute point.
If we got it wrong then history will judge not just our leaders but us too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we must just hope that history is feeling charitable to the westen democratic electoral system!
I might not like bush or blair particualy but i dont think you can easerly bring any specific charges against either of them. We must just keep an open mind when we view our actions and the actions of our leaders. If they are wrong we are wrong too.
Sorry to sound a bit preachy but this one realy got me going.

historically, the winners decide who the war criminals were
it will be very interesting to see how all the world figures of today are viewed in a hundred years

This is a moot question. Bush is not a war criminal and, therefore, won't be tried as one. He won't be impeached, either. So, the type of punishment he will receive is nonexistent. You people are pathetic! Instead of whining and complaining about how bad Bush is, shouldn't you be out there working for the DNC or something trying to get elected the best people for the job(s)?

Um, Bush isn't a war criminal. Going to war doesn't make you a war criminal. Hitler exterminated millions during WW2, thats why his officers were war criminals. We were attacked, and Bush fought back. Iraq didn't have connection to Al Qaeda, but he was giving money to Palestinian families to send a family member to be a suicide bomber in Israel. That is supporting Terrorism. On September 11th, Bush declared war on terrorists and those who support them. He said an attack on our ally is an attack on us and we will defend our ally. Israel is our ally, and Saddam supported attacking them. And don't think for one second that Saddam didn't want to attack America, because he would do it in a second and you know it. Show some logical thought process before you go on political rants that you probably know nothing about.
