a) filter could be clogged.
b) hose/pipe could be clogged.
c) pump could be broken.
d) Valve may be stuck.
e) Computer sequencer could be broke.

Unless it's A) you will probably have to call a repairman.

First of all.. check to see if the drain(when you open the dish washer door) is free of STUFF that would prevent water from going down the drain. Then.. if you are handy with some plumbing... go under the sink where the dishwasher is connected to the drainage pipe and take it off to see if it is plugged.. Oft times, this is the case.

Unclog it. IT is probably blocked by food in the bottom. Try cleaning the filter for starters. It the filter is clean then try dumpoing some sort of block remover like liquid plumber down the drain there and in your sink. That should help a lot.

Check to see if the water flow spout (that's the metal cap on your sink) is clogged.

Pull the cover and unscrew the cap, then clean out whatever gunk is there

It cost me $90 to have a problem fixed in 5 minutes
