Love for one another is unfortunately growing very cold. However, you and I can change how we love others. Good luck.
"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Mt 24:12

I have noticed it too.I have even noticed it in my family. I grew up with 4 sisters, and my parents stayed together until my mom died. My dad remarried and has since died 3 years ago. I have tried to keep in touch with my sisters but we are treated like outsiders and it makes us feel unloved! As far as the world, it seems that alot of people have gotten so selfish and self absorbed.
I try to still be kind and instill in my children to be close, I don't know how far that I get, but still make the effort.
Other countries are always fighting, and now we fight in our country. It is sad.

I love everybody, I may not tell them, but I even love you. So when can we get together for dinner?

is ti that there is less love, or that people are reluctant to show it? either way, i also have noticed that hate or indifference is far more common on the streets, in the news, around the neighborhood, etc. when you DO see a selfless act, it makes you pause and wonder, "when did we get away from this?"
i try to surround myself with positive, loving people. in this way, perhaps i insulate myself from the angst in the outside world, or pretend it doesn't exist. head in the sand? ok, but the ostrich is happy...
