Are you putting too much pressure on yourself always to be "up"? Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows. (As the late comedian Bill Hicks said: "Life is a ride. It's just a ride." And from comedian Lily Tomlin, two observations: "Things are going to get worse before they get worse." And: "We're all in this together -- by ourselves.")
Here are several things that have helped me:
To rediscover meaning in your life, answer these three (3) questions each night before you go to bed:
1) What surprised me today?
2) What touched or moved me?
3) What inspired me?
From the Four Agreements:
1) Be impeccable with your word. Speak with integrity and say only what you mean.
2) Don't take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of you. It simply reflects their own life experiences and the training they received when they were children.
3) Don't make assumptions. Find the courage to ask questions and express what you really want. Communicate as clearly as you can. And don't become attached to preconceived ideas of what should happen.
4) Always do your best. Then never second-guess yourself or look back with regret.
And, from an 83-year-old woman who was not named: "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance."
Finally, it probably wouldn't hurt to have your hormone levels checked by a doctor. Sometimes mood swings can have a physiological source.
Good luck!

Start accepting the fact that you are sad. Don't tell others or they will begin to resent you.
Accept the fact that others around you may be even sadder than you are. Let them know that you care every once in a while.
Love the fact that there are other people that can't help, because that means that sometimes there are situations that you should just stay away from and tell somebody else to fix.
If you are concerned with the voices in your head, start playing role playing games that you are sad or angry, but have fun at the same time. That is positive thinking to me. Going to my room and kicking and screaming about how the feathers in my pillow talk to me and tell me to think bad things when I am sleeping. I just can't help but laugh sometimes when I feel bad because I direct my pain in different directions, directions that are more helpful than pointing my anger and frustration at a brick wall.

You sound clinically depressed. A standard answer is meds. I don't like meds, but if you need them, you need them.
Meds improve mood. Otherthings improve mood. that gets one out of a funk and empowers one to get out of a dark rut...
But this is REALLY IMPORTANT:
Meds or No .. things really will NOT get better unless you DO something. First you have to know what you have to change, then work towards it.
The other thing(s) ya gotta do is take care of yourself, eat as best as you can, get 7 to 8 hrs sleep if possible, and try to get some streaching and excercise daily. Standard stuff but also true.
And once things begin to change, perhaps things are not as bad as they seem. Not always true, often true.
All these things can be tough. Doing even ONE of them can be tough.
I know. So take it one day at a time.

Your bipolar as hell. I don't believe in medicine to treat this
When you feel like this go running 3-4 times a week and try to improve your times. Also meditate once your done. It works for me and I'm going through the hardest period of my life. Reading the paper at the coffee shop after my run is healthy to because I'm not alone.

So what's your question?
How to stop crying? Staying positive? How to live one life instead of two? How to fool yourself?

seek out a mental health counselor. Lots of times just talking out your problems will help. I'm still not sure why, but apparently it does.

hi, well you need to go into more details as to what is bothering you. but whatever is bothering you, you need to do something about it. not doing anything about it and just being positive is not going to make things better. but let us know what's bothering you so maybe we can help. but you know what they say, there is always sunshine after rain. so keep being positive, and try to do something about what is bothering you. so good luck.
