please tell me everything there is (or everything you know) about eintien's theory of relativity. also, why is it when reaching the speed of light time slows down, but when you go faster than the speed of light time is reversed? im very interested in this topic so please help.

Hmmmm...now THAT is a little hard to explain.

Think of it this way. If you take a certain instant in time, such as as friend fell down. This scene will move away from you at the speed of light. IF you could also move, away, at the speed of light, you would forever and ever see that scene because it and you are moving away at the same speed......the speed of light.

NOW, IF you could move away from that scene...FASTER than the speed of light, then you would see your friend BEFORE they fell down thus making time seem to reverse. How abourt that?

First, nothing can reach the speed of light; second, no particle has been confirmed to go faster then the speed of light--this is just speculation. As an object starts to move faster, its time, relative to a stationary observer, begins to get dilated by the factor: 1/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2). For example, if an object were moving at half the speed of light, then the above equation would be equal to 1/sqrt(1-.25) = 1/sqrt(.75) which equals about .86 ( don't have my calculator).

There are many websites and journal ariticles which could explain it much better and in much more detail than I can here. You ask a very difficult question. I would suggest going to you local library or looking up journal articles about this topic from reliable sources. This will help you to answer your own question and give you the specific knowledge you are seeking.
