I know, some people have no clue. Cellulite is actually mainly an issue with loss of elasticity in the connective tissues. It can affect women of any age and any size, in fact most women suffer with cellulite. Obviously the less fat you have, the better it will look, but when you are as slim as you are, there is no point trying to become thinner!

If you are interested, there are some cosmetic treatments that may help. One is known as endermologist, which is lymphatic drainage and the other is mesotherapy, where small amount of a solution are injected into the problem areas and this can improve the look of the cellulite.

The only other suggestions I have are keeping your diet healthy, ie free from foods that cause toxins to build up such as processed foods high in salt and coffee especially. Drink at least 4-8 glass of water per day. Try having cold showers in the morning and dry body brushing to improve circulation. Get plenty of exercise to tone the problem areas and maybe get your hormones checked, as high oestrogen levels can cause cellulite to worsen, which can also happen whilst on the birth control pill if it has a high oestrogen content. HTH : )

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue. The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism. Squats are especially good for leg and butt cellulite. The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. There are treatments out there that help with both the fatty tissue and the connective tissue, especially on a short term basis for your Holiday. The treatments reduce the fat and provide elasticity to the connective tissue. Some of their names include Mesotherapy, Velasmooth and Endermologie.

Cellulite does not come from a single cause. It almost always comes from a combination of generic and hormonal factors. Some wrong behaviors, however, can cause or even worsen cellulite: a life that is too sedentary, altered blood circulation, incorrect diet with insufficient intake of fluids, smoking and alcoholic beverages, high heels and close-fitting garments. The plasma fluid, transudated from impaired and weakened capillaries, accumulates and stagnates in surface adipose tissue.
Cellulite can be reduced by a balanced diet and specific treatments https://tr.im/gYHzZ

Cellulite is a result of toxins in your body. You do not have to be fat to have cellulite. When toxins enter your body either from diet or stress, sugar, antiobiotics, etc. your body wraps fat tissues around them to protect the vital organs from the toxins. The only way to get rid of cellulite is to detox your body. Go see a hollistic nutritionist and get a good, strong detox along with drinking plenty of water... if you stay on a diet of chicken, fish & vegetables along with the detox for 2 weeks the cellulite will drop off your body like magic! Not only that, you will feel like a whole new person. If you have any other body aches & pains, usually the detox takes care of those, along with chronic headaches.

There are many products and procedures advertised for reducing and eliminating cellulite, that horrible looking dimpled skin that shows up on the thighs, backsides, stomach or upper arms of 8 out of 10 women.
As I said there are a number of treatments that can eliminate the appearance of cellulite, but this is the most effective https://tr.im/uYuHQ

You may not need to lose weight, but maybe exercising and toning up can help with the cellulite. 25inch waist sounds goods, but size 8 in pants? Try to find out some leg/thigh toning workouts. Your right not bad for 42.

Because they don't know the difference between fat and cellulite.
The only thing I can recommend try Biotherm or Elancyl from the Drug Store. The Enlancyl does work after a few months because you actually massage it out of the pockets. But you have to do it all the time, besides you need to drink 8 glasses of water and eat lots of fresh uncooked veggies with a yogurt dip. Unfortunately even skinny people get cellulite.
Good Luck

Probably because the people answering your questions assume that only people who are overweight suffer from cellulite. I knwo here is no actual cure for it, but the Loreal lotions, and other creams you can find at Target or Walmart in the cosmetics area help reduce the appearance. My friend highly recommends Neutrogena Anti-Cellulit Treatment.
