My spouse and I forgot our anniversary this year!!!!!!! It's fine with us. We don't feel the need to celebrate it every year.

Well I can understand the Valentines thing but anniversary is a whole other thing.

You got to celebrate your wedding day! My husband and I value our marriage and its nice for us to think that we share a special day together.

It doesn't have to be flowers, dinner and presents kind of thing. Do something special that both you and your husband would like to do on that day. Just a little reminder that you guys still hold your values and still love and have each other. Wouldn't that be worth celebrating??

My husband enjoys celebrating ours.... He has taken on the responsibility of planning our Anniversary Date the past 10 years.... It's coming up in a couple weeks and he has already gotten reservations and told me the mode of dress although he is keeping location a secret...

On our past anniversaries have:
1st Picnic in the park he had his mom help him cook the meal (Fried chicken cole slaw and Pepsi (I was expecting)
2nd Dinner at the top of the cliffs overlooking the city (Cheeses crackers meats breads and wine)
3rd Dinner on the roof of the hospital (I was in for ankle surgery) (hospital food by candle light, but great company)
4th Dinner on a boat in the middle of the lake (Fresh Trout (he caught it that morning) new potatoes and salad) (he cooked)
5th Dinner at a buffet in Reno we stayed the week end and gambled..
6th A picnic by candle light, on the livingroom floor at midnight (Chinese food ordered in)
7th Dinner on the patio of an italian resturant (It was cold so we were alone on the patio with a propane heater, A violinist came out for a bit but retreated because it was snowing)
8th Dinner and dancing in Reno.. (Mexican Food)
9th Dinner at a diner followed by a drive in movie (He borrowed his fathers car so it would be like a teenage date, we sat in the back seat and didn't watch the movie)
10th Coming up all I know is I am supposed to dress in a gown and he has made an appointment for me to get my hair and nails done early in the day... No telling where he is taking me but I am sure it will be memorable...

I do like to celebrate our anniversary, but with a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant. We've celebrated it 44 times.

My wife is the best, so yes i do. But it is just going out to eat somewhere nice. But everyone is different, maybe he shows you in other ways all year long.
Happy Anniversary!

Well I do not celebrate it either.I am in the fortunate position that my wife is the same in that aspect. We quite often have people remind us that it is our annivarsary or a birthday.
