Military officials, Republican senators, his own former National Security Adviser, unprecedented oppposition for any president.
It's time to lame-duck this man and he should not be allowed to finish his term as president!

Apparently YES. His numbers have went up, and Zogby, Gallup polls said that the over whelming majority of Americans take Bush's side against McCain, Powell, Warner, and Graham. He'll finish his term, and keep on killing terrorists. Oh, btw, haven't you heard? There's going to be a negotiation, and it's looking like Bush will get his way with this, so too bad for you, and your thug buddies, huh?

Really I think we need to take them to court first to be tried. After they are convicted of being a spy or terrorist then we send them to a secret prison for torture. But when convicted as a terrorist it should be a death by torture. The punishment should fit the crime.
I do not think that Bush should be able to just nab someone off the streets and pore water on them till they think they are going to die till after the trial and conviction.

I would sure like to know how any of you geniuses would get any information from a terrorist with out some type of depravation or duress torture as you call it. Let me guess you would hold their hand and sympathize with them until they trusted you and told you what they know from the goodness of their hearts! Idiots!
Also these people are terrorist and criminals at the least. They have no rights and are not protected under our constitution.

He convinced me that he won't continue his interrogation ops unless he gets full definitions of the terms of the Geneva Convention under which they must operate. It doesn't sound like a big request to me but both the dems and reps seems to have a problem with it. If this means an end to the Gitmo operation, I think it is the correct result.

Guess you're talking about Club Gitmo? Bush was exactly right in what he said. It's time for you pansies who can't stand us inflicting pain on terrorists to get information out to go take a long walk off a short pier. Don't you know that when these people are released, that they'll just go right back to what they're doing? How stupid are you? Maybe we should stick you traitors in Club Gitmo, and see for yourself what goes on there.

I have never been so terrified by a political figure. He was angry and refused to take any reporter's questions seriously. I am shocked that his advisors are letting him go this far. I am seriously disturbed by him right now.

Bush sure upset the terrorists.
Good thing the terrorists have you to care for them.
Nothing like a good little terrorist supporter.

I think all the terrorist should be treated with the greatest respect.
I think we should make them homemade cookies and soft blankets and chocolate kisses color TV and anything that will make them comfortable. Oh yes, and may be we can provide them with some ingredients for their explosive devices ,
SO THEY CAN BLOW US ALL UP, just as long as the are happy that will be fine. And if you hapen to be there or someone you love happens to get blown up, that's the breaks. But just be gentle with them.
