My daughter does this as one of her chores. I have almost all my bills drafted out of the account or pay them online, so I don't have to fret about what bills may be there. Mostly catalogs/junkmail/magazines. Most of it straight to the trash.
If only....the volume of spam did not exceed that of snail junk mail, I would not find spam so irritating. If they would only charge something like one tenth of a cent for each email sent, those major spamsters might have incentive to find honest work.

I try to check it daily but I can never get caught up. I receive over 150 emails a day. I just scan them over and look for the people that I want to hear from. I set up folders to help me weed through them. So Jokes go straight to the joke folder, Poems go to the poems folder, Pictures go to the Pics folder, Misc & Helpful Info goes.... and so on.

yeah I check it daily cause I get checks sometimes out there. Just today got one for $20.00. yesterday was better $89.95. the day before sucked $7.43. So yeah I am motivated to walk the driveway and check for the checks

i get my mail every day, the mail man brings it to my door and honks the horn for me cause I hooked him up with a washing machine and a microwave.
