Republican: John McCain won't get past the primaries. He's not liked by the mainstream party base. Mitt Romney is the dream candidate for the GOP. GOvernor of a liberal state, fiscally conservative (if you enjoy Domino's Pizza, SLC Olympics or shop at Staples, thank him), he's aligned with the party on social issues, he even looks like a President. But his LDS (Mormon) faith could be problematic. Pataki and Guiliani are too far left for th base (see McCain). If George Allen (VA Senator, former Gov.) wins reelection and puts his "Mucaca" comment behind him, look for him to be on the top of the ticket. Bill Frist (Sen. Tenn.), Rick Santorum (Sen. PA) or Jon Huntsman (Gov. UT) are all possible VP candidates (although don't expect the last two to seek the nomination; they would be drafted VPs, like Cheney was)

It has gotten to the point for me that I dont even care who is running, I am probably going to vote for an indepentant who I will probably agree with more than a Dem or a Rep. I am only 20 and I am already sick of politics.

Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, Democrats, and John McCain, Republican. At least with McCain, you get the feeling he actually CARES about this country, unlike the current administration. GOD FORBID Rick Santorum gets anywhere near that office. His tenure is an embarrassment to my wonderful state.
