I'd rather always lose for two reasons.

1. At least you're playing.
2. There's always a chance that you might win the next time around.

i would rather lose because the next time i would play better. if i did not play at all then i would know nothing and therefore i would have the experience that i have. losing makes you stronger, never playing makes you weaker. if you try and lose that is one thing but if you do not try at all then you do not know what to expect.

i would rather always lose cas the fun is in playing the game not whether u win or lose.....example I never win at paintball cas im a lousy shot and a good target but it is fun just to play....

Always lose because if you never play then nobody has any respect for you what so ever. and at least if you try they have some respect plus eventually you have to win at least once.

sports - always lose, because you gain skills from playing
gambling - never play because if you always lose then you are Broke

when you say always i think you mean always, so far...
always never happens...
i taught my nephew to play chess, i think i won 100 games in a row.
he didn't quit.
last year i lost $125 betting him on chess match and i'll still play him... for ten cents LOL
