Possibly depending on where you live. Wear a short sleeve top with it to balance it out and not be too hot.

Those pants sound nice.
Its a little early .. but I love corduroy ...
I would only care about being uncomfortable. and since I work in a lab that requrires sweaters year round ... I have already seen it now on men and women
You can try wearing it about the house to see if you would roast.

I wear corduroy all the time. No one has ever been "eew, you're wearing cords NOW?" so don't worry about it. Just don't wear corduroy from head to toe.
