While it is convenient, and sometimes correct, to blame religion for wars, humans can and will find many reasons to destroy each other. Ideology (such as induced by religion) is bound to create chasms into which we are willing to push each other.
When I first saw your question I though it was going to be another illuminati conspiracy nut question.
Oh, in answer to the last question...
Yes, I'm plainning to sit and watch it on TV. As human-induced strife cannot be eliminated, I am determined to analyze as much of it as I can observe.

Hey, nice observation, but if you don't have a ***t load of cash to spend trying to convince the general population in this country to check your yes box in your "vote to make a difference campaign", you're S.O.L!! Keep in mind that only about 20 - 30% of the U.S. makes use of the internet, so don't think that you or anybody elses is going to make a big splash in the pond with any kind of political campaign. So you will need to spend a lot of your own cash to be convincing. Hey . . . wait a minute, isn't that like buying votes, at least indirectly? Corporations do it all the time, they just go right to the source, skipping the general population at least from a compensation perspective. The reality is that even if you were able to convice people to vote one way or the other, those votes will be bought and sold like any other comodity. The winning bidder will in the end do whatever they want, and you'll have no control over it. You'll have to figure out how to take the "business" out of political campaigns, or find a bunch of people who don't like money or the things it can buy and let them run the country. Maybe you can locate the mothership and convince the aliens that political careers on earth are within their best interests. However, if they start rolling around in Bentleys, living in big houses with their boats in the marina and private jets at the airport, the vicious cycle begins again.
Cheers

Everyone is aware of it, they just have different perceptions. If everyone honestly answered a survey, we would discover that an alarming percentage of the population feels more comfortable with someone thinking for them. They trust the hand that feeds. That's always been the driving force behind war and glory and it always will be, unless the gene pool miraculously begins producing a higher caliber of individual.

Yes and these higher forces have always been with us. It is NOT religion, but people that are doing the manipulating. I suggest you rethink your conclusion. It is PEOPLE that make up religion, that fight wars, that dominate other people and try to control them. People make up the media, governments, political parties, and it is people that lie, cheat, steal, murder, rape, and that are evil. What is your answer as to what to do about it? Wipe out the human race?

I am aware that we (humanity) are in the middle of a warfare between good and evil. There is a great book, the bible,
Gods living Word, that explains it all. During our short existance here on earth, we have the opportunity to decide whom we will serve. Freedom of choice was given by our Creator. We can either choose to serve Him or choose total separtion from Him. Hell is total separation from God.. Where do you choose to spend eternity? With God? or without Him.

Are you talking about Demons? Or are you talking about human malevolent groups like the Trilateral Commission, the Illuminati, Bilderburgers, Masons, etc.? Or is this the "Dark side of The Force"?

Dude... I... completely... agree. Ever since the dawn of ages, we have been infiltrated, unwillingly, by other "beings". My friend thinks that I am, "Nutjob who likes attention!" but he is wrong, because he does not suspect a race I have come to know as... The Glikba.
I am being completely honest. If you don't believe me, then wait until the years of A.D. end, and the years of A.A., that means After Apocalypse, begin.
