Eukaryotic cells have a true nucleus, bound by a double membrane. Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus.
Eukaryotic DNA is linear; prokaryotic DNA is circular (it has no ends).
Eukaryotic DNA is complexed with proteins called "histones," and is organized into chromosomes; prokaryotic DNA is "naked," meaning that it has no histones associated with it, and it is not formed into chromosomes.
Both cell types have many, many ribosomes, but the ribosomes of the eukaryotic cells are larger and more complex than those of the prokaryotic cell.
The cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells is filled with a large, complex collection of organelles, many of them enclosed in their own membranes; the prokaryotic cell contains no membrane-bound organelles which are independent of the plasma membrane.
"Pro" means "before," and "eu" means "true," or "good." So "Prokaryotic" means "before a nucleus," and "eukaryotic" means "possessing a true nucleus."
The differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells are more fundamental. The most obvious difference is the presence of membrane bound organelles in eukaryotes.

the respond is D. Nucleic acids make up DNA and RNA, that are contemporary in the two Prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Mitochondria isfound in basic terms in eukaryotes. Golgi vesicles is contemporary in the two professional and eukaryotes. Prokaryotes don't have nucleus. while eukaryotes do.

eukaryotes are larger and have organells...the functioning parts to a cell. You are made up of eukaryotic cells. Think of organells like the organs inside your body. Each organell has a job, just like each organ does. The heart pumps blood...the mitochondria make ATP.
A Prokaryote is a smaller simpler cell. This is the type of cell that makes up bacteria.

I'm going to give you the ans., but to me this is a stupid question and a waste of time, because this is in a Biology book, in full details. Anyway...
Eukaryotic cells are multicellular-made of more than one cell, for example humans, have a nucleus, and have membrane- bound organelles. Prokaryotic cells are unicellular organisms-made of only one cell, for example bacteria, do not have a nuclues, and don't have membrane-bound organelles. Those are differences between a eurkaryotic and prokaryotic cells.
P.S: PLEASE next time you have a question like this, look in your Biology book to spare yourself the embarrasement.

To answer your question with accuracy and precision. Prokaryote means, " before the nucleus " and eukaryote means, " true nucleus ". I see you already received a very good, detailed answer on the variance here.

the first answer is really good, but just as some very minor nit picking:
prokaryotic dna is organized into chromosomes, typically 1, but it's still a chromosome. some bacteria, members of the burkholderia for example, have 2 chromosomes. some bacteria, members of the genus streptomycies come to mind, have linear chromosomes, much like eukaryotic organisms.
anyhow, go with the first answer, and keep mine in mind if you get a chance to provide a nice finishing touch.

eukaryote = nucleus and a seperate midocondria. prokaryote = nothing has it's own space everything happens, dna, energy tranfer, and energy making, in the protoplasm.
