I need a place to live.. I can't afford a roommate YET, but I've been kicked out of my house. I'm an adult.. going to college. My dad chose his stepwife over me, she's basically the wicked stepmother you've seen in all the old-disney classics.

Whatever, I got over it. I need a place to sleep. I have a car that I'll probably stay in for a while.. and finally found a job. It took a while though. I goto a community college right now, msot of my friends are at state colleges, so I don't really have anyone to rely on for lodging right now.

Just any insight I guess would be good. Kinda don't know what to do. I'm going to be selling everything I own basically for cash. The television, stereo, dvd collection, etc etc.

Well this won't be fun but it is a roof. Try a motel that charges a weekly rate. it will cost a lot in the long run but you pay it weekly. They usually don't require a credit check or a large security deposit. They let you move in right away. I hope this helps.

Is there a accomodation support service in your college? I would probably go see a counsellor at the college you attend and tell them about the situation and ask them for help. At least this would be a start, and keep asking for help. It is not good enough to be sleeping in your car if you are a student. If your college doesnt have an accomodation worker, at least ask them to refer you into another service that would.

Well, you are going to have to do what many people have done, are doing, and will do - you'll have to work and go to school at the same time.

I know it can be done because I worked full time in a factory and went to school part time for my degree. The last two semesters I went full time while working full time.

Good luck.
