Who in their right minds would choose Dartmouth over Princeton? Obviously if you get into Princeton, then go, because it's so much more prestigious and renowned than Dartmouth.

If your qualifications are high enough to be accepted by both schools and you have the luxury of choice between the two, choose Princeton. It's now ranked #1 among all schools, including its ivy league competitors.
